The ‘Get to Know a QCPU Scientist’ Series spotlights the scientists at the Queen’s CardioPulmonary Unit (QCPU) who provide friendly service and meaningful expertise across multiple faculties in the Queen’s University research community and beyond. This series hopes to demystify what they do at QCPU and provide a fun introduction into who they are!
Dr. Alizadeh is QCPU’s small-animal imaging specialist. She combines an impressive background of physics and engineering into creating three different medical imaging techniques. Her lab boasts being the first tri-modality nuclear imager in Kingston, ON!
