Mazda MX-5 Miata (2016+): How to Install ND3 OEM LED Taillights in an ND ND1 ND2 Gen Car

This video shows the steps required to install a set of OEM ND3 MX-5 (2024+) LED rear taillights with LED rear turn signals on a fourth generation Mazda MX-5 Miata (2016 through 2023 - including ND1, ND2, soft top and/or RF variants). This video utilizes the MX5things wiring harness (with 5ohm resistors) to prevent hyperflashing of the all-LED lights. In the video, I do not hook up the LED reverse lights in the center of the ND3 LED taillights, but I do show the steps to complete this process if you would prefer. The specific car in this video is a 2020 MX-5 RF Grand Touring.
In my opinion, the depth and all-LED design of the ND3 taillights offer an aesthetic upgrade and arguably could offer a slight safety enhancement as well as the ND3 taillights are approximately 30% brighter than the OEM ND1 or ND2 taillights.
