The SS Isola di Levanzo was a steel-hulled Italian cargo steamer, measuring 113 meters in length.
The ship was travelling from Genoa to Durban, carrying salt and other cargo, when it sank on March 14, 1923, on the Elba Reef near the Egyptian-Sudanese border in the Red Sea.
The wreck lies broken into two sections.
The stern section lies capsized, with its propeller
visible at around 16-22 meters and the bow extends to deeper depths at about 30 meters.
My dive to this wreck was from the liveaboard Aggressor V. For the footage, I used an Insta360. Just a heads-up, this video is not sponsored by them.
