The Sora Noops, Floops and Loops

Sora’s biggest tech right now are his loop combos and the potential they have to possibly help him rise as a top tier character in Super Smash Brothers Ultimate. This video puts all the noops, floops and loops into perspective as far as what really works and what won't work from the research I’ve done and from what I’ve been able to lab and find personally useful.

Note: I’m using Juheeya’s UltimateTrainingModpack. All the combos shown were tested with DI out, or DI in. Sora’s loops have crazy hitstun so things like DI and SDI don’t really affect his loop combos. It’s all about the weight and fall speed of the character, percent, as well as which part of the keyblade you hit them with. All cpu’s were set to mash either air dodge, shield or jump. A lot of the time Ultimate’s combo meter doesn’t register combos that are indeed true as it doesn’t take into account the lag/frames needed to bring up a shield, airdodge or jumping after being hit. This is especially true when it comes to Sora’s loops as a lot of the times you’ll catch an opponent trying to jump, landing or airdodging out of your loops and you can still keep pressuring regardless. Actually, if an opponent jumps out, and you catch them, the loops become even harder to escape.
