Mentoring Programme for Women in Media

Women in media, from across the region, supporting one another, sharing experience, and by doing so, contributing to each other’s professional and personal development.

Their stories inspire and prove that mentoring should be available to women in media on an ongoing basis.

The Media for All programme has supported 139 local media outlets across the Western Balkans over three years. It has helped build skills, capacities and resilience of independent media and empowered over 1600 media professionals to produce quality, relevant and gender-sensitive content that engages new and under-represented audiences, including women, young people and marginalised groups, together reaching 17 million on-line users.

The Media for All programme was funded by the UK Government and implemented by a consortium led by the British Council, along with Thomson Foundation, BIRN and INTRAC.
