Outdoor VLOG 78: First Snowfall in Tahoe at Lake Level (but not enough on which to xc ski!)

Hey folks! I apologize for not producing any new videos since the end of July. Yikes, that's a long time! But I'm blaming my delinquency on a handful of excuses, and I'm sticking to them! Haha :)

Basically, work was just really busy this summer (felt like a Saturday in Tahoe nearly every day this summer!). And, of course, I've been grinding non-stop for birds for my Tahoe Big Year (https://www.tahoebigyear.org ). I've actually already completed my goal of documenting 200+ bird species in the Tahoe/Truckee region for the year, but we have two more months to find a few more birds. So I'm going to continue to carry on and see if I can eke out a few more before the New Year.

In the meantime, I wrote (and audio recorded) an essay of my Tahoe Big Year if you're interested in hearing about it. Basically, I wrote it last month so that I wouldn't have to do it at the end of the year (when I'll only be thinking of cross-country skiing!).
