The Story
Perched at the edge of a forgotten road, Blackthorn Hollow has stood for over two centuries, its walls sagging beneath the weight of secrets too heavy to bear. Once a grand estate, its windows now gape like hollow eyes, and ivy coils up its stone like grasping hands. Locals whisper that no one who enters stays the same—footsteps echo where no one walks, doors sigh shut without a breeze, and candle flames sputter when names best left unspoken are uttered aloud. The house waits, patient and hungry, as if the years themselves have seeped into the rotting wood and taken root in its bones.
The Curse:
The Blackthorn family line dwindled into obscurity, but the house never let go. Every generation since, those who try to live there are plagued by tragedy—fires, madness, disappearances. The locals say the family’s sins are soaked into the timber, and that Blackthorn Hollow itself feeds on sorrow, ensuring no one leaves unscarred.

"Two centuries ago, Elias Blackthorn built this grand estate as a monument to his wealth and power. But behind its walls, tragedy took root. His wife, Margaret, wasted away in silence. His daughter, Isadora, fell to her death on the grand staircase. His son Alaric vanished into the sea, never to return.
