Tracy has been out buying again and has found a 19th century English Spode porcelain pot. Filthy, forgotten and missing it's lid it was probably destined for the rubbish dump. Something in the little forlorn pot, probably the colours blue and white, called to Tracy and that was that. We bought it home, gave it a good wash and found a new use for it as a flower vase. Finding new uses for antiques if they can no longer be used for the original purpose is a great way to protect these little pieces of our history and keep them alive.
