Originally from Silver Spring, Joony grew up in a diverse environment. He started making music in 2014 around the age of 13. Inspired by artist’ like Kanye West - Joony makes sure these days to try to have at least co-production influence on all his own original tracks. He trust his intuition and his fans have come to trust his ear, so he doesn’t shy away from experimenting with his sound.

Earlier this year - Joony received a major co-sign from Brent Faiyaz who expressed how much of a fan he was and even took it a step further to feature him on his song Paper Soldier. No stranger to releasing music, Joony has dropped 6 projects in 2 years. His most recent, Silent Battles has received a great deal of buzz and has everyone in the area looking forward to his next move.
