The Danger of Religiosity - 2002 - Shaykh Hamza Yusuf

Another lecture given in England after September 11th that emphasizes the effects of the loss of traditional Islamic teaching, the departure from the sciences of the purification of the heart and the subsequent inclination towards self-righteousness and religiosity. With the departure of the spiritual teachings of Islam, including compassion, forgiveness, and tolerance, the core of our deen is lost and the human heart grows hard.
