On October 28th 2018 after a long 19 year restoration, the Shay is once again back in Service as it gets a chance to stretch its wheels for the public on the IRM mainline on the last day of public operations for the year, seeing the engine run again brings me back memories of my childhood when I used to ride behind this engine on the caboose trains. Im glad I had a chance to help out in the steam department bringing this engine back in operating condition. This video is dedicated to my buddys in Steam Department.
