Human Race, written by Don Everly, was recorded on November 27, 1968. But while another version, recorded on January 9, 1970, was released as the B-side to EB’s single, Yves, this older version, which seems to be a sort of rough take, just sat around til it was finally released on the Chained To A Memory box set in 2006. I prefer the backing music/instruments on this one: Jim Gordon on drums, Don on guitar/banjo, Terry Slater on bass, Larry Knechtel on keyboards, Jack Sargent - percussion.
