Today I visit the picturesque village of Aldbourne, in the rolling Wiltshire countryside.
The village was the setting for the classic and much loved Third Doctor story ‘The Daemons’, first aired in 1971, and starring Jon Pertwee in the titular role, with Katy Manning as his assistant Jo Grant, Nicholas Courtney as The Brigadier, and Roger Delgado as the Doctor’s arch nemesis The Master.
I take a look around the village, and see how much the filming locations have changed in the 50 years since the story was first broadcast.
