Festive Sugar Cone Trees | Christmas Treats Everyone Loves

Guys, I think these are my favorite! These Sugar Cone Christmas Trees are the most adorable edible decorations you can make this season! Frosted, sprinkled, and totally customizable, they’re as fun to create as they are to eat. Kids love them, adults love them, and let’s be honest—we all turn into happy elves when piping frosting onto a tiny tree.

In this video, I’ll show you how to frost the sugar cones smoothly,and decorate them with sprinkles, candies, and a whole lot of holiday cheer! Whether you’re making cupcake toppers, edible centerpieces, or just looking for a festive kitchen craft, these little trees never disappoint!!

Sugar Cone Christmas Trees

INGREDIENTS
▢ 6 Store bought ice cream cones
▢ 6 Store bought large sugar cookies
▢ 1 16-ounce can vanilla frosting
▢ Green Food Coloring
▢ Assortment of candies and Christmas-colored sprinkles

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Add vanilla frosting to a medium-sized bowl. Mix drops of green food coloring into frosting until you have your desired green color.
2. Turn the sugar cone upside down, fill with candy for extra festive fun!
3. Pipe frosting around the bottom of the sugar cone. Press it onto the cookie "base". Be careful not to break the cookie or sugar cone. Freeze for for 15 minutes.
4. Spread green frosting onto the cone. Once the cone is covered in frosting, have fun decorating your tree using sprinkles, M&Ms, or other edible decorations.
5. Top each tree with a star sprinkle, if desired!
