Hiking from Randa to Zermatt is a fantastic option for those looking to get away from the crowds! The Charles Kuonen Suspension Bridge was definitely the highlight for me! At 500 meters long, it was once the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in the world!
Also, it’s hard to beat the views of the Matterhorn you get on this trail. You may not be as close as you can get from other trails, but seeing the whole ridge from the Matterhorn to Breithorn is truly special.
