7.5 weeks ago I broke six ribs while skiing at Sugarbush in Vermont. After a long recovery, I'm not back to skiing. In this video, I take a run off the gondola at Whiteface Mountain in northern New York on March 26.
Whiteface Ski Area is located in the Adirondacks of Upstate New York and has a vertical of 3,166 ft. It's even higher if you're willing to do some hiking and the slides are open.
Whiteface Ski Area is located near Lake Placid, New York, in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains. The area, including Whiteface Ski Area, hosted the 1980 Winter Olympics.
This video was filmed on March 25, 2025. It was the 70th day of my ski season.
