വ്യാജ POCSO കേസിൽ‌ ജയിലിൽ 6 വർഷം; കോടതിയിൽ സ്വയംവാദിച്ച് നിരപരാധിത്വം തെളിയിച്ച പാസ്റ്റർ ഷിബു

Fake POCSO Case: തെറ്റായ കോടതി വിധിയെ തുടർന്ന് ചെയ്യാത്ത കുറ്റത്തിന് ജയിലിൽ കിടക്കേണ്ടിവന്ന പലരുടെയും കഥ നമ്മൾ കേൾക്കാറുണ്ട്. പത്തനംതിട്ട സ്വദേശി ഷിബു 28ാം വയസ്സിലാണ് ഒരു വ്യാജ പോക്സോ കേസിൽപ്പെട്ടത്‌. 2014ൽ തൊടുപുഴ പൊലീസ് രജിസ്റ്റർ ചെയ്ത കേസിൽ അഞ്ചുവർഷത്തിന് ശേഷം കോടതി ഷിബുവിന് ഇരട്ടജീവപര്യന്തം ശിക്ഷ വിധിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. എന്നാൽ ഈ വിധിക്കെതിരെ ജയിലിൽ വച്ച് നിയമം പഠിച്ച് ഹൈക്കോടതിയിൽ സ്വയം വാദിച്ച് കുറ്റവിമുക്തനായിരിക്കുകയാണ് യുവാവ്.

Shibu, a pastor from Pathanamthitta, was only 28 years old when he was implicated in a false POCSO case. In 2014, the Thodupuzha Police registered the case, and five years later, the court sentenced Shibu to double life imprisonment.
