In this tutorial, I'm breaking down the entire process into simple, manageable steps to show you that creating a beautiful, warm, and professional-looking coat is an achievable project for any sewist.
I decided to shorten the coat by 15cm and add 2cm to the side seams. Also removed the vent from the sleeves. I cut all the pieces out of wool with some extra fabric along the seam allowances to avoid shrinkage when interfacing the pieces.
