I need to make a few comparison tests and now the benchy seems to be getting better.
ABS. 260C, 1000mms commanded, 60K acceleration, 40SCV. 9.1 grams.
I can save more time on this, but I like to have more quality. I add some infill before tops by a few layers under, this get's a more uniform top layer. I don't want a blob if I can help it and I like to do quality runs.
I am going to slice another for 4 minutes and see what happens. Then 3.. then 2. I am sorry, but at less than 4 it's going to be a mess. But I would like to try. If it's a total mess at 3, I will stop. If there is hope in the motion control arena, I will add some external cooling.
This is currently only the UFO--N-ATOR duct.
BTW, I am not using any input shaping. How does that exactly work in this case?!?
I consider this a very good print, not for the speed so much, but for the quality 'as-is'.
