Three parties unite as reform movement

Build One South Africa, Rise Mzansi, and the GOOD Party - have announced that they will contest the 2026 local government elections together under one banner.

The new formation, called Unite for Change, says its campaign will focus on five key priorities: ethical leadership, job creation, reliable basic services, tackling crime and corruption, and improving service delivery through digitalisation.

The parties made the announcement in Rosebank, Johannesburg, insisting that the move does not mark the end of their existing organisations.
