We consider the mapping from the upper half space to a a region with a channel. The resulting region will allow an incompressible irrotational fluid to move around the channel. We are able to explicitly find the mapping with the help of hyperbolic trig substitutions. The stream lines corresponds to the curves where the imaginary part of the potential function is held constant.
