Louis Diemschutz was the man who found the body of Elizabeth Stride - who is generally considered to have been Jack the Ripper's third victim - in Dutfield's Yard, off Berner Street at 1am on the 30th of September, 1888. He was the steward of the International Workingmen's Educational club, which sided onto Dutfield's Yard.
However, in recent years, American author and private investigator Randy Williams has put Diemschutz forward as a suspect in the Whitechapel murders.
In this video, Randy outlines his case, which suggests that several members of the club carried out the murders under the direction of Russian aristocrat Peter Kropotkin (1842 - 1921) in order to discredit the British Government and expose the horrors of the sweating system in Whitechapel.
