Everton Paul on drums, the rhythmic center of gravity. Then the horns—Chris Butcher’s trombone, Bobby Hsu’s saxes, Alexis Baro, William Spernadei, Alexander Brown, Rebecca Hennessey on trumpets, Michael Arthurs on tenor sax and Magdelys Savigne and Jorre ‘Papiosco” Torres percussion. Lines that could soar, whisper, or punch holes through steel when the song called for it.
And the singers—Selena Evangelene, Gavin Hope, Ammoye Evans, Stacey Kay, Michael Dunston, Maiko Watson—voices so textured, so seasoned, that every session felt like history in the making. Guest artists drifted through those doors too: Aria Zena, Jonathon Knight, Julian Taylor. A rotating cast, but always the same feeling—a shared devotion to craft.
