Yogyakarta tour EP3--Pantai Timang (Timang Beach)
A few years ago, I watched a Korean TV show called: Running Man, where I first learned about Timang Beach. I had always wanted to visit this tourist destination. Finally, during my trip to Yogyakarta, I made time to visit the famous Timang Beach.
Timang Beach is quite far from the Yogyakarta city center, approximately over 40 kilometers away. It took us more than 3 hours to reach. The last 2 kilometers leading to Timang Beach had no proper roads, so we had to rely on the "Shuttle Jeep" services provided by the local village to finally reach our destination.
At the Timang beach, I was thrilled to ride the famous Gondola Ride and also successfully cross the Suspension bridge over the sea. It was a fascinating and exhilarating experience.
Although I only spent a short hour at Timang Beach, the six-hour round trip journey was well worth it. It was an unforgettable adventure that I will cherish.
