We all thought the US had a Pairs Bronze medal in the bag at Grenoble, at least until that incredible moment, when the toe pick went out on a death spiral. It startled them a bit, and there was another slip at the end. 5 minutes is a long time to skate.
The Germans would take a the medal. I will add their name in a moment (when I remember it - pull it from the ethos lol ) From FRG and Bronze medal winners (Morgot Glockshuber and Wolfgang Danne) --- The Silver medalists were Soviets Tatiana Zhuk and Alexandr Gorelik
