Many dinosaur fossils that show signs of injuries and disease can provide information on life history, palaeoenvironment, behaviour, and even interactions with other animals. Tyrannosaurs are among the most well-described dinosaurs when it comes to injuries, with some individuals, including notable Alberta specimens, accumulating many throughout their lifetimes. The high quantity and severity of these injuries in many cases illustrates not only the dangerous lives these animals led, but also their physiological capacity to survive and heal.
