Replacing Door Locking Mechanism on Mini Cooper (R50/R52/R53/R56)

In today video, I replace the door locking mechanism for my Mini Cooper S R53. This will also work on other Mini coopers including the R56.
I show the steps required to removing the old unit and installing the new one.
I was able to get myself a brand new second hand unit from eBay for £25.
Takes about an hour or so to complete, not a bad job at all.
I can now use my key and open my door without having to physically put the key into the door and turn it to unlock.
The key gob has been working as it opens and locks the passenger side.
It locks on the drivers side just doesn't unlock...
Issue is to be one of the motors within the unit to no longer be working.
Once replaced I now have both doors fully working with the key fob.
