Every artist has to start somewhere—even if that start is filled with choppy washes, muddy colors, messy edges, and plenty of trial and error. But that’s exactly why we keep a sketchbook—to experiment, refine our techniques, and grow our skills!

In this video, I’ll be flipping through two of my sketchbooks from 2019 to early 2021. These sketches capture my early journey into watercolor and plein air painting—two mediums that quickly became a huge part of my artistic exploration. Join me as I reflect on my progress, share lessons learned, and hopefully inspire you to embrace the creative process!🎨✨
