JayArts.Com - Lord Krishna, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu is worshipped as one of the supreme deities in Hinduism for his compassion, and love he shows towards his devotees, and Radha is an incarnation of Goddess Lakshmi.The statue depicts Radha and Krishna swinging under a Kadamba tree enjoying their blissfull moment. Krishna is embracing Radha with his right hand, while his left hand is holeding the swing. Radha's left hand is resting on Krishna's lap holding his flute, while her right hand is holding the swing. The face of Radha and Krishna has a smiling expression, and they are dressed beautifully adorned with jewelries, and artistically designed vastram (clothing). There are three peacocks present in the statue; two peacocks sitting on top of the tree, and one peacock on the pedestal near the couple.The kadamba tree is intricately engraved with fine details, and is fixed to the base, and the swing of Radha and Krishna is removable from the tree. The patina of the statue with Radha and Krishna in golden yellow, and the tree in a wood brown finish gives a splendid appearance to the statue; indeed an exuberant statue of Radha and Krishna on a swing.
