This almost 300-year-old dilapidated palace is known as Nimak Haram Deuri. It is one of the most historical places in Murshidabad. However, this palace is also known as Jafarganj Palace, where Mir Jafar lived with his family, according to historical sources, the last Nawab of Bengal, Siraj-ud-Daula, along with many of his relatives, were killed in this palace. Currently, the palace is no more, only its entrance gate. The history of extreme betrayal is hidden in its broken brick walls.
