We explore Polignano a Mare, a dramatic town built on dangerous limestone cliffs where people dive from their balconies straight into the sea! I also visit the stunning city of Lecce to learn the "Pizzica" courtship dance (it’s harder than it looks!) and meet a master of paper-mâché art.
Of course, it wouldn't be a trip without amazing food. I’m cooking a rich, slow-cooked lamb stew with red wine and orange zest, and firing up the grill for some sticky marmalade chicken skewers that are perfect for summer. This is Italy at its most spectacular!
