Hi, I built a noise isolated headphone from an old (kinda) Marshall Major headphone, and an ear protection headset.
It was my first time using this painting technique, but I really like the result, feel free to tell me in the comments what side of the headphone you prefer, I can't tell personally.
The manipulation of the speakers and the whole internal build was really delicate, because of the fragile wires, but it went rather straightforward from start to finish.
Just one detail I wish I knew before starting: for optimal sound quality, the ear-speaker distance must be short, so using spacers to reduce that distance in the present build would have been the cherry on the cake!
Fortunately that final product is still fully functional, super isolated, and very comfortable.
You may notice as well the color difference between the brown jack cable, and the black cable going from one ear to the other. I originally planned to use the brown cable to link both of the speakers, but it was too damaged, so I used a spare one, coming from another Marshall Major (a destroyed one).
