Grace VanderWaal - Let's Lay Down in the Backyard (Unreleased Original) [Remastered]

Grace shared this song in April 2020. Took me two years to get to this one. More than the usual amount of work went into it. I Isolated the vocals using phase inversion and some manual spectrum editing. Then put it with the original instrumental track she used for this. It's called Waking Up Slowly by No Spirit x SAINT WKND. Now the music sounds stereo, and the same quality as the original.

Grace made this track sound like the music was meant for those lyrics. Suffice to say that is in itself an extraordinary talent.

It reminded me how Deadmau5's song The Veldt came to be. He's an electronic producer, lives not too far from me. He posted his instrumental track on Soundcloud. Some unknown guy named Chris James made up lyrics based on Deadmau5's favourite book the song is named after, and added his own vocals to it. Deadmau5 reluctantly decided to listen to it and ended up losing his mind over how good it was. He decided to make an official release with his label with very little changes made do it. Chris James is now a Grammy nominated artist.
