This video demonstrates how to fix a broken spyder e-frame with an old Spyder Imagine. The fix involves replacing a bad capacitor with a soldering kit.
What you need:
A clean working surface
A clean towel
Soldering Kit
Solder
Electrical tape
Screw driver
Philips head bit
3mm hex wrench or hex bit
You'll need to replace your capacitor with the spec as the one on the board, the most common being:
6800 uF
16 V (or higher)
16mm Diameter (or smaller)
30mm Height (or smaller)
Useful to have:
Multimeter (for testing)
Sharpie (to mark capacitor polarity)
Dust off (clear surfaces)
