Maria Manhattan is a 17 year resident of Hudson NY. She has made her living as an artist and has shown her ceramic sculptures in galleries on Warren Street. Her radio show The Hudson Café can be heard on our community radio station WGXC.org.
This video of Hudson's first Pride Parade is part of our LGBTQ+ Hudson Area History collection. This archive project is funded in part by the Spark of Hudson, in partnership with the Eutopia Foundation, and through the proceeds of this year’s Poke the Bear fundraiser in honor of Trixie Starr, founder of Hudson’s Pride Celebration.
