किसी की लापरवाही… किसी की गैरजिम्मेदारी…
और नतीजा—
25 परिवारों का दर्द, चीखें, और बर्बादी!”
शनिवार की रात।
गोवा के अरपोरा इलाके में स्थित मशहूर नाइट क्लब ‘बर्च बाय रोमियो लेन’ में लोग एंजॉय कर रहे थे।
किचन में काम चल रहा था, स्टाफ बेसमेंट में रूटीन तैयारी कर रहा था।
सबकुछ सामान्य लग रहा था।

लेकिन आधी रात के बाद—
ठीक 1 बजे—एक सिलेंडर ब्लास्ट हुआ।
धमाका इतना जोरदार था कि
किचन एरिया से उठी आग ने पलक झपकते ही पूरे क्लब को अपनी चपेट में ले लिया।
और सबसे खतरनाक—
धुआं नीचे के बेसमेंट में भरने लगा।
स्टाफ को समझ ही नहीं आया कि वो आखिर जाएं कहां…
इसी घबराहट में और अफरा–तफरी में,
कई लोग नीचे बेसमेंट की तरफ भाग गए।
लेकिन यहीं गलती…
उनकी जिंदगी की आखरी गलती साबित हुई...
और जांच में सामने आया कि—
25 में से 23 लोग धुएं से दम घुटने के कारण मरे।
और सिर्फ 2 ही लोग आग से झुलसे।
बाकी सब… उस जहरीले धुएं की वजह से हमेशा के लिए खत्म हो गए।
मॉर्निंग विजुअल्स आते ही पूरा गोवा दहल गया।
अस्पताल के गलियारे परिजनों की चीखों से भर गए।
किसी माँ ने अपने बेटे का चेहरा देखा तो चीख पड़ी—
“तू रात को काम पर गया था… लौटकर क्यों नहीं आया?”
किसी बच्चे ने अपने पिता की लाश पकड़ कर कहा—
“पापा… उठो ना…”
पत्नी रो-रोकर पति का चेहरा पकड़ रही है…
लोग टूट चुके हैं, बिखर चुके हैं।
“Goa… a place where people come to savor the joys of life.
But that night in Arpora… became a night of death.
25 people… died in an accident that shouldn't have happened.
Why? Because someone made a mockery of safety rules.
Someone's carelessness…someone's irresponsibility…
And the result—
the pain, screams, and devastation of 25 families!”
Saturday night.
People were enjoying themselves at the famous nightclub “Birch by Romeo Lane” in Goa's Arpora area.
Work was underway in the kitchen, and the staff was making routine preparations in the basement.
Everything seemed normal.

But after midnight—
at exactly 1 a.m.—a cylinder exploded.

The explosion was so powerful that
the fire that erupted from the kitchen area engulfed the entire club in the blink of an eye.

And most dangerous of all—
smoke began filling the basement below.

The staff didn't know where to go...
In this panic and confusion,
many people ran down to the basement.
But this mistake...
proved to be the last mistake of their lives...
And the investigation revealed that:
23 out of 25 people died of smoke suffocation.
And only two were burned by the fire.
All the rest...were destroyed forever by the toxic smoke.
As the morning visuals came in, all of Goa was shaken.
The hospital corridors were filled with the cries of family members.
A mother saw her son's face and cried, "You went to work last night... Why didn't you return?"
A child, holding his father's corpse, said, "Papa... wake up..."
A wife is crying and holding her husband's face...
People are broken, shattered.
