Here are the requirements to be eligible to apply through Oklahoma board of Nursing:
1. Education Requirements
• Must have graduated from a nursing program equivalent to U.S. standards.
• Your education must include theory and clinical experience in medical, surgical, obstetric, pediatric, and psychiatric nursing.

2. Credential Evaluation
• You must obtain a CES Professional Report (Credentials Evaluation Service) from CGFNS or another board-approved agency.
• The report must be sent directly to the Oklahoma BON.

3. English Proficiency
• Required unless your nursing education was in English in a country where English is the primary language.
• Accepted tests:
• TOEFL iBT
• IELTS Academic
• TOEIC
• Scores must be sent directly from the testing agency.

4. NCLEX-RN Exam
• Apply for licensure with the Oklahoma BON and register with Pearson VUE for the NCLEX-RN.
• Once eligibility is confirmed, you will receive an Authorization to Test (ATT).

5. Criminal Background Check
• Must complete a fingerprint-based background check through the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) and FBI.
• This must be done in the U.S., so plan accordingly.

6. Application & Fees
• Submit the online application via the Oklahoma BON website.
• Pay the application fee (non-refundable).

7. Social Security Number
• Oklahoma requires a valid U.S. Social Security Number to issue a license.
• If you do not have one, you may not be eligible for a license until you obtain it.
