I got cast in my DREAM show?!? LEGALLY BLONDE DIARIES WEEK 1 - Vocal Rehearsals // adjusting HARD

y'all... I can't believe I'm even saying this. I got cast in Legally Blonde at Super Summer Theater at Spring Mountain Ranch Las Vegas for their 50th season!!!! I'm still not fully processing it 😭

Insane full circle moment. I literally saw this production over 10 years ago on the very stage we're performing at, fresh out of high school being like "omg I have to be in this musical someday!!"

She didn't know it yet but the universe was listening.

For those who don't know, Super Summer Theater has been a beloved Las Vegas institution since the 1970s, putting on outdoor productions at the absolutely gorgeous Spring Mountain Ranch. I've been going to their shows almost every summer since high school and it's always been one of my all time favorite local Vegas experiences - live theatre out in nature and under the stars?! Come awnnnnn.

And I get experience it from the STAGE perspective for the first time?? It's not going to hit me til we're there tbfh.

Decided it is a non-negotiable to document a literal dream come true so come with me as I bring you along the next few months of all the BTS and production process!!!

First week - vocal rehearsals. WHEW...

I haven't done musical theater in over a decade and let me tell you, being in a room of this caliber is absolutely nuts. It's like being a third grader in high school classes. No choice but to take it as bad betch bootcamp.
But we'll get there! It's going to be a journey FSHOOOO.
