This walk begins at Hackerbrücke and leads towards Theresienwiese, right where the Oktoberfest takes place.
The route passes the European Patent Office and crosses the Landsberger Straße bridge before reaching the shopping center next to the festival grounds. At the main entrance of the Oktoberfest there is a short pause to take in the atmosphere and the lively scene, before continuing to the side entrance, which happened to be closed.
On the way back, the walk passes the impressive St. Paul’s Church and continues along Paul-Heyse-Straße. The walk ends at the intersection with Bayerstraße.
This tour combines urban impressions with the unique atmosphere surrounding the world’s largest folk festival, uncut, in real time, and with authentic sound.
