Enough with the 'M' badge pettiness ! :)
OK if you have an 'M' badge on a 316 or a 318 etc. then yes, you're just kidding yourself.
M-Sport is pretty much a trim option (and an expensive one), not that you're trying to make believe you have an M3 !
In my case, my Clubsport is much rarer than an M-Sport beneath it and it came as standard with M-Sport suspension, M-Sport front bumper and indeed BMW themselves saw fit to put the 'M' logo on my kick-plates and steering wheel. So if BMW classify it with the 'M' then I'm damned sure I can add to that with a boot badge if I please.
If you don't know what a Clubsport is and the 'M' badge annoys you then that's too bad - go pick on a 316 owner that has one.
