The Everest Base Camp (EBC) trek is a renowned and moderate trek that takes you to the base of the world's highest peak, Mount Everest (8,848 meters). Located in the Khumbu region of Nepal. The trek offers stunning landscapes, rich Sherpa culture, and breathtaking views of the Himalayan mountain range. To reach Everest base camp trek it takes more than 9 days from Kathmandu. Some clients they are planning to take a helicopter return from Everest base camp to make easier to travel. Because we will back to Lukla through same route.
The trek typically takes around 12 to 14 days, depending on the specific itinerary and acclimatization days during the Everest base camp. This trekking duration includes both the trek to and from Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region.
The normal trekking route starts with a flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, followed by a trek through various villages and beautiful landscapes. The trail passes through phakding Namche Bazaar, Tengboche, Dingboche, Lobuche, and Gorak Shep before reaching Everest Base Camp. Acclimatization days are usually built into the itinerary to help trekkers adjust to the high altitude.
Day 1: Fly to lukla from Kathmandu and trek to phakding.
Day 2: Trek to Namche from Phakding.
Day 3: Rest day at Namche.
Day 4: Trek to Tengboche.
Day 5: Trek to Dingboche.
Day 6: Rest Day at Dingboche.
Day 7: Trek to Lobuche.
Day 8: Trek to Gorakshep and Hike to Everest Base Camp.
Day 9: Hike to Kalapatther and trek to Pheriche.
Day 10: Trek to Namche.
Day 11: Trek to Lukla.
Day 12: Fly to Kathmadnu or Ramechap. And drive to Kathmandu hotel.
