Watchin' Movies & Dyin' Inside: "Tough Guys Don't Dance" (1987) Drama/Suspense/Unintentional Comedy

I watch another movie and see whether or not it's amazing or if I start dying inside. Today's feature: 1987's "Tough Guys Don't Dance", written and directed by Norman Mailer. Ryan O'Neal stars as Tim Madden, a man at the end of his rope. His wife left him, his world is upended by drama, and also there's several dead bodies lying around.

It's an increasingly convoluted story of love, deception, betrayal, and flashbacks-within-flashbacks. And also that one clip of Ryan O'Neal on a beach saying "Oh man, oh god, oh man". Yup, it's that movie. And no, the scene doesn't make any more sense in context.
