day out with thomas at bo'ness and kinniel railway july 12th 2025 | the summer's heatwave is on

ladies and gentlemen boys and girls it's the moment you've all been waiting for

first 2023 then 2024 (twice) and now 2025 that's now 4 times in a row i've done this

saturday july 12th 2025 andrew harvey (me) and his mother take a trip up to the bo'ness and kinniel railway to attend a day out with thomas event in the hot weather

as usual ncb #1 "lord roberts" continues to play the number 1 blue tank engine himself pulling passengers to birkhill and back top n tailed with british rail class 26 diesel locomotive #26038 "tom clift" due to the heatwave resulting in starting extreme trackside fires

we also checked out the newly restored model railway and bought the trackmaster all engines go thomas and donald from the gift shop before heading home at the end of the day

overall i had a blast a perfect way to celebrate thomas's 80th anniversary

sit back relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of the bo'ness and kinniel railway during a day out with thomas
