Many people have been left emotionally scarred in Kenya after the scenes of five years ago when more than 1,000 people were killed and around 300,000 were forced to leave their homes, following the disputed elections. The city of Kisumu, in the west of the country, was one of the worst affected by the bloodshed. Kisumu is home to prime minister and presidential contender for next week's elections, Raila Odinga. Attempts have been made there to encourage reconciliation amongst the city's different ethnic communities but as BBC Africa's Anne Mawathe reports many people are still gripped by fear.
