Sustainability and Circularity – an integrated approach to asset management

With many organisations looking at opportunities to develop and expand its production, with a lower carbon foot print, there is an opportunity to challenge the existing process, technology and capacity, to reduce operating costs and improve sustainability.

Within the process industries,we are seeing assets being operated to and beyond their design life, for both onshore and offshore facilities. Having established that equipment ageing is a major contributory factor in 30% of equipment failures and 28% of all reported major accident loss of containment events, the regulator continues to focus on the impact of ageing on the safety and environmental performance of these ageing assets whilst operators learn to operate and manage facilities well beyond their design life.
