8 nut rolls, fresh yeast and 8 hrs. refrigerator to rise:
let melt and let cool - set aside:
2 sticks of butter
2 sticks of margarine
6 eggs separated - set aside white for filling
Break one whole egg in the 6 egg yolks
1/2 pink of sour cream (8 oz.)
1 large can of pet evaporate milk
mix yeast into cool water - set aside
1/2 cup of cool water
2/3 portions of yeast
When butter is cool, add milk, sour cream and egg yolks.
Add the yeast mixture, 2 tsp. vanilla, 3 tablespoons of sugar,
1 tsp. of salt, and 10 scant cups of flour. Add half of the flour
to the mixture, mix well then add the rest of flour mixing well.
Put in refrigerator overnight in a covered container.
NEXT DAYS:
Filling - 2 lb. bags of chopped walnuts
5 cups of sugar
6 egg whites slightly beaten
mix together - separate into 8 cups
Separate the dough into 8 equal portions
Roll out on a flour board. Spread filling and then roll the
dough (don't roll real tight)
Bake about 30-35 mins. at 325 degrees
