Swarmlake (15,398 Run)

For a 10MB game, this is pretty fun. Simple arcade fun.

For anyone interested in a basic strategies:
I found it advantageous to, obviously, stay mobile and look for the purple objects.
Try and lead a swarm or a big cluster near it before touching it to destroy the most projectiles you can and generate the most crystals possible.
The purple objects emit a wave that destroys anything that it touches. You can get risky and go close to or into the swarms to maximize this, but only do this if the swarm has a purple object very close to or within it.
Once there are a lot of crystals, it is better to collect them from the ground whilst running than in the air because their collection range is not going to compensate well for a jump, and you won't get anything if you double jump. You can see the current score on the gun, so you can see for yourself that running on the ground sometimes collects hundreds of crystals whereas hopping only gets a small fraction of that amount.
I recommend firing in a small circle in front of you to try and clear as many immediately incoming projectiles as possible if your screen is pretty much nothing but incoming projectiles.
If you venture into a swarm, like I was, you may die instantly, like I did.


This isn't a great strategy by any means, I only have 30 minutes in the game, but it worked well to get a score over 10,000, which isn't too impressive based on the scoreboard at the end, but it's a start.
