Draw the Schroedinger Wave Probability function for a particle in a closed box with length L for the 1st 4 states. Assume m = 3.2 x 10-29 kg and L = .50 micrometers.
a) What is the probability that the particle is in the middle of the box in the 2nd state (n = 2)?
b) What are the most probable positions of the particle in the n = 4 state?
c) If the energy of the ground state equals 10 MeV, what is the energy of the 3rd state?
d) Calculate the actual energy of the particle in the 3rd state.
