This track, 'KARMA' focuses more on groove than pure aggressiveness. From the mantra intro and tight chorus melody, we tried to make a unique song with eerie and special atmosphere. Fun fact is that our drummer recorded a guitar riff on his phone with his awful singing voice, and that was the start of this track's creation. Some may say that this is a typical nu-metal track, but we tried to give it an alternative rock edge, which is a genre that we've never delved into before. With repeated listens, we're sure that you'll find the true value of this unique song.
마구 달리거나 내지르기보다는 절제된 그루브 안에서 분위기로 먹고 들어가는 트랙이 만들어졌다고 생각합니다. 초반부에 삽입된 천수경부터 여러 겹으로 촘촘히 쌓아올린 코러스 보컬 트랙까지 다소 음산하면서도 개성적인 분위기를 연출하기 위한 노력을 기울인 곡입니다. 재미있게도 이 트랙은 드러머 tako군이 입으로 소리내어 휴대폰에 녹음한 엉터리 기타리프를 시작점으로 삼아 작곡되었습니다. 어찌 보면 전형적인 세기말 분위기의 미드템포 뉴메탈 트랙이라고 볼 수도 있겠지만 코러스와 멜로디에는 평소에 저희가 시도하지 않았던 초창기 얼터너티브 록의 문법을 살짝 대입하기도 하였으니 이 부분에도 초점을 맞추어 여러 번 들어주시면 곡의 참된 진가가 발휘될 것입니다.
