A pictorial of Revon Reed. Revon was born in the Grand Louis durald community of Mamou La. in 1917. He attended high school at De La Salle Seminary in Lafayette La. where he joined the Christian Brothers and taught elementary & high school for 12 years. Revon was a WWII stevadore officer and was stationed in Okinawa Japan ( with Pascal Fuselier) when the US dropped the atomic bomb on Hiroshima Japan on Aug. 6th,1945.
Revon received his Master's degree in Physical education from Boston University. He began teaching at Mamou High in 1946 and was an educator for over 35 years.
